Branch Art Exhibit: Sarah Saif

Throughout the month of September, the works of Sarah Saif are on display at Morningside branch This is Sarah, a Pakistani self-taught mixed media artist based in Toronto, who's been painting for the better part of her life. Her art is an extension of her life, her feelings, her experiences ever since childhood; it's always been tied to her, even when she didn't realize it. She has started a business in hopes of showing the world a glimpse through her eyes. She is a creative with hopes of her paintings being displayed around the world, one of which is being sold in Bahrain. "I am inspired by life itself, from everything I see and feel, my experiences and everything in between. Art can change someone if they are willing, and I aspire to do that - to touch people through my art and help them feel understood in this world where one can feel so lonely." This exhibit is part of TPL's Art Exhibit program. Toronto Public Library provides space for local artists to exhibit their work at locations across the city. These exhibits aim to reflect the diverse cultural interests of the city and its neighbourhoods. Free. All are welcome.
