Diaries of Mark Robinson Algonquin Park Ranger 1908-1936

Dr. Gregory Klages presents Algonquin Diaries, comprising the diary entries of Mark Robinson about life in Algonquin Park in the early 20th century. For over three decades, Robinson served as ranger, acting Park Superintendent, and officer in the Canadian Expeditionary Force. Throughout, he maintained daily diaries in which he recorded his experiences of significant social, political, cultural and environmental events. Dr. Klages is the author of The Many Deaths of Tom Thompson: Separating Fact from Fiction, a Writers' Trust of Canada Best Books 2016.
