Emma Lamontagne has reintroduced herself with her new EP title "Inevitable," a 5-song collection of her life before turning 25. The EP has landed her an Ontario Folk Music Award nomination for Song of the Year, as well as a Capital Music Award nomination for Songwriter of the Year. Her emotionally riveting voice has received praise from fans who have described her songwriting and stand-up comedy as if she is watching their lives through a camera lens. Her goal is to make her listeners feel seen and heard through her music. Meagan's grandfathers were both jazz musicians who performed in India (Goa), Africa (Nairobi), and Canada (Toronto) when they immigrated in the 60s.
