SHEAL, the stage name of Sheilagh McNab, is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter whose piano-driven folk-pop blends intimate melodies with emotionally resonant lyricism. On her third recording, home-going, SHEAL explores themes of nostalgia, belonging, and the complicated act of returning home. Recorded primarily on an upright piano in her Toronto home and produced by Eric Vanier (Maria Aragon, PHELIX) the EP reflects on McNab's connection to her Nova Scotia roots while exploring the emotional distance between where we come from and where life takes us.home-going is a tender, reflective collection about looking back with wisdom, reconnecting with where we come from, and discovering that sometimes returning is less about arriving than it is about finding your way.
